About Us

 the flourish collective provide a variety of psychological, health and wellbeing services to children, young people and their families. 

 Our multidisciplinary team provide face-to-face and online individual and group consultations tailored specifically to your needs.  Talk to us about how we can support you. 

 We are located in warm, friendly space where individuals and groups have opportunities to connect in both indoor and outdoor spaces.

Rachel Johnson

Practice Director / Therapist

Rachel has over 20 years experience in mental health.  She has an undergraduate and honours degree in Social Work and post grad qualifications in developmental psychiatry and child and adolescent psychotherapy.   Rachel specialises in connecting with children and young people (and their families) with developmental difficulties, depression, anxiety and complex trauma.  Rachel accepts mental health treatment plans, NDIS and private referrals. 

Bridget Ash

Social Worker / Therapist

Bridget has extensive experience in working with children and young people in both school and community settings.  Bridget facilitates many of our groups and is works with children and their families in the NDIS space.

Tiegan Holtham

Clinical Psychologist

Tiegan is on maternity leave and not accepting referrals currently.

Tiegan has extensive experience in working with young people with mental health difficulties and has a special interest in working with young people with eating disorders.  When available Tiegan accepts mental health treatment plans, eating disorder plans, NDIS and private referrals.

Rachel Conn

Accredited Mental Health Social Worker

Rachel has extensive experience in perinatal mental heath and specialises in working with mums and babies privately and under mental health treatment plans.  

Alana O'Hearn

Accredited Mental Health & Paediatric OT

Alana specialises in working with young people with depression and anxiety and more complex mental health presentations.  She also works with children and young people with developmental difficulties.  Alana is available for online consultations and accepts private, mental health treatment plans and NDIS referrals.   Most NDIS referrals are conducted in our practice in conjunction with Maddi our Therapy Assistant. 

Jamie Owen

Accredited Mental Health & Paediatric OT

Jamie specialises in working with complex developmental difficulties.  Jamie also also works with children and young people with depression and anxiety.  Jamie is available for online consultations.  She accepts private, mental health treatment plans and NDIS referrals.  Most NDIS referrals are conducted in our practice in conjunction with Maddi our Therapy Assistant.

Simon Casey

Accredited Mental Health Social Worker

Simon has extensive experience in mental health and specialises in working with young people.  Simon accepts private, mental health treatment plans, eating disorder plans and NDIS referrals.

Kate Beadman

Social Worker / Play Therapist

Kate has a background in working with carers and in schools and community health.  She works extensively with children and adolescents and alongside her Social Work degree is trained in play therapy.  Kate works on Saturdays and takes private and NDIS referrals.

Sally Williams

Social Worker / Therapist

Sally is a Social Worker who is passionate about working with children, young people and their families.  She is skilled with complex presentations and diverse abilities.  Sally co-facilitates many of our NDIS groups and provides one to one and parent and family interventions.  Sally takes private and NDIS referrals.

Sacha King

Social Worker / Therapist

Sacha is a Social Worker with extensive experience working with young people and adults in complex trauma, complex presentations, mental health and diverse abilities.  Sacha has a background in working in schools and not for profit organisations and alongside her clinical skills also has a passion for providing education to organisations and groups.   Sacha is currently gaining her mental health accreditation and is currently taking private and NDIS referrals.

Nim

Therapy Rabbit

The favourite of all therapists, Nim is popular with all ages.  Nim is an expert in mindfulness and setting boundaries with others.  She supports humans to learn gentle slow approaches to connecting with themselves and others and role models how to take space when we need to.  Apart from being an expert at cuddles when she feels inclined to accept them, she can be prone to nibbling on toes or basically anything she can.  Nim accepts all types of referrals.

We're Hiring!

Therapists / Therapy Assistant

Experience in working with children and families would be amazing.  You may have worked in schools or possibly child care and be keen to refine skills in therapies in smaller group and individual settings.  We also encourage undergraduate students, especially from areas such as social work, psychology, speech pathology, OT and education.  


Key selection criteria:

Continued self reflection and building and refining ones own Emotional Intelligence skills 


Working as a part of a team

- connecting and relating to team members to support best practice outcomes and connections that build community

- a focus on building and maintaining connected relationships 

- great communication skills


Openness to lifelong learning
